Health & Safety on Soccer Island:

We have been diligently working behind the scenes to modify our curriculum and current operating procedures to ensure a safe return. You will see our coaches making adjustments to our regular routine to continue to keep safety our top priority. Additionally, all coaches will complete a mandatory health and safety course before returning to coaching.

During our sessions, your coach will:

 Avoid high-fives, fist bumps, and unnecessary physical contact

 Wear a face covering if our state and/or local jurisdiction requires or recommends doing so

 Use rings, spots or orange cones as “home base” to keep children spread out when possible

 Request that equipment be cleaned up and put away only by the coach

 Continue to remind children of the importance of keeping safe distances when practicing skills, by mentioning to “keep space, so you don’t bump into your friends.”

 Avoid the use of pinnies

 Use a modified Soccer Shots cheer at the end of the session

Additionally, coaches will be sanitizing all equipment before and after each session and monitoring their temperatures daily. We will do our best to use smaller group sizes and/or larger field setups to allow for the distancing of participants and observers.

We are requesting that families attending in-person sessions follow these guidelines for the health and safety of other families and coaches:

 Wash or sanitize hands before entering Soccer Island (we recommend singing the Soccer Shots song while doing so – ask your children if you need help with the words!)

 Adhere to state and/or local jurisdiction regarding face-covering requirements

- SIDE NOTE ON MASKS: Our local government is suggesting mask use, NOT requiring it. In light of this recommendation, our coaches will wear masks but YOUR CHILD IS NOT REQUIRED TO!

 Practice social distancing by trying to stay 6 feet away from others that do not live in your household

 Stay home when you are sick and keep your children home from soccer if they are sick (we’ll miss them on Soccer Island, but we want them to be healthy!)

 If attending a Mini session (ages 2-3), only one family member per child is permitted on Soccer Island

Soccer Shots Policies

REFUND POLICY:

* Refunds will not be issued for failure to attend a scheduled class.
* Full refunds minus a $10 fee apply when the withdrawal of a student is received in writing 2 weeks prior to the start of any season.
* Should Soccer Shots find it necessary to remove a child from a class, a refund will be issued after deduction for classes already attended.
* No refunds will be issued after week 3 of the season.
* Refunds prior to week 3 of the season will be given for the remaining sessions only.
* No refunds will be issued for failure to attend a make up class.
* All requests for refunds must be made in writing and emailed to a Soccer Shots representative, and are subject to a $10 refund fee.
* Soccer Shots shall assume no liability in the event that a season is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, unforeseen occurrences, or any other event that renders performance of the season impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labor strike, extreme weather, natural disaster or other emergency. Soccer Shots will make every effort to offer a substitution event in the case Soccer Shots cancels or postpones due to a fortuitous event.

In the event of the cancellation of in-person sessions due to health or safety mandated restrictions, this season will continue via a virtual platform. If you are unable to participate in the virtual sessions, we will provide a credit for the remaining in-person sessions to your Soccer Shots account to use for a future Soccer Shots season.

MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS:

* Withdrawal of an enrollment for a subscription based program must be submitted in writing 3 days prior to scheduled payment withdrawal. Failure to submit withdrawal request 3 days prior, resulting in a payment being withdrawn, a $10 refund fee will be applied.

COUPONS:

* A coupon code may NOT be applied on a prior purchase, or after a purchase has been made. However, a credit may be issued to the account for the coupon, under certain circumstances.

JERSEY EXCHANGE:

* Within the first 14 days of the season start, Jerseys may be exchanged if unused, and tags have not been removed. Additional Jerseys may be purchased for $15.


MAKE-UP CLASSES & CANCELLATIONS:

* During spring, summer, fall, and winter seasons, whenever possible, we will use indoor space during inclement weather. If there is no indoor space available, we will reschedule or add additional time to other sessions to make up for any that are missed.
* During the winter season, if your school or center is closed on a Soccer Shots day due to snow or other weather-related issues, we will work with your school or center to reschedule or add additional time to other sessions to make up for any that are missed.
* Make up classes may be held on a different day or time than the regularly scheduled class.
* Soccer Shots reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be made of classes remaining.

ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL POLICY:

* Parents must sign out children from after-school programs at their childcare center. Parents are expected to arrive a few minutes before the session is complete.
* If your child is to be picked up by someone other than yourself, please note authorized pickup person on the registration.
