                Soccer Shots Charleston is excited to begin a new season at SUMMERS CORNER NEIGHBORHOOD GROUP! 

We believe that the Soccer Shots Curriculum encourages inclusive, child-centered activities, facilitated and encouraged by coaches and families, in a safe, positive, fun and welcoming environment. We believe that all children can develop socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively and linguistically, through soccer and play.

A Soccer Shots Session Includes:

  • » Activities that promote development in each early childhood domain

  • » A theme of the day woven throughout the session and applied to each activity

  • » Character words that are succinctly defined and applied throughout each session (by coaches and participants)

  • » 3 rules that emphasize the character words

  • » An objective for each day’s session that describes the outcomes of the class

  • » Ideas for differentiation that are provided for each skill or game, both individually and for groups of children

  • » Opportunities for play and creativity

  • » An emphasis on the development of soccer skills while having fun

  • » A weekly email update on everything your child is learning in their session that week!

Sometimes sessions will be canceled due to inclement weather. When this happens, you will receive an email and text

message as soon as possible, notifying you that the session will be missed. Usually, this message will also include the

makeup date but, if not, we will send a follow-up message within 48 hours with all the makeup session details! Make 

sure you have an updated email address and phone number listed on your account!
